DRUID DELFT
This autumn, Bible of British Taste and Not Quite Past have teamed up to create a curated collection of Druid Delft.
These designs blend the classic beauty blue-and-white of Dutch Delftware with the folk revival. Fired on our terracotta‑toned rustic base, these tiles suit kitchens and bathrooms, look beautiful framed, and make fine gifts or small votive offerings to deep time.
Each tile begins, like all of our designs, in the soupy cauldron of modern generative AI. We then hand-transfer each design onto a high-quality ceramic tile and fire it in the traditional heartlands of the English ceramics industry in Stoke-on-Trent. The result is something full of heritage and craft, but also with a touch of the contempoary.

Not Quite Past has always been about re‑making the art of the past: looking closely at art history with the help of modern techniques until it yields new forms that speak to the present.
With Bible of British Taste, we’ve gathered a set of designs that revive not just classic blue-and-white style of the Dutch Golden Age, but something older too, in the form of prehistoric scenes. The result is a small run of Druid Deft.
We're far from the first people to explore the iconography of the Stone Age. For centuries, artists and thinkers have looked to the druids as a repository of meaning and mystery for art and culture.
