The 'gevlamd' or 'flamed' tiles are authentic to the Delftware tradition. They provide gorgeous and intricate rippling and swirling patterns that would act as a wonderful secondary tile to contrast with more detailed or figurative designs, perhaps in checkerboard fashion. You could also form a band of these as a frame or course separating designs. We provide a wide range of colours below, but you can prompt many more in the 'Patterns' tab in the workshop yourself.
